In the heart of Rome

We live in Esquilino, one of the Seven Hills of ancient Rome. Within a short walk you can reach Colosseum, Domus Aurea, St. Giovanni, St. Maria Maggiore and some among the most important and beautiful Basilicas and churches in Rome.
Our building was built in 1927, in an elegant and classical style. In 2017 we bought and restored this flat (130 square meters) keeping the original floors and doors to maintain the ancient style of the house. As you can see by the pictures, it is a very bright and airy flat.
The main railway station (Roma Termini, with liaison to Fiumicino airport every 30') is very close, the underground station "Manzoni" is in the nearby. bus and train stops are all over around us. You won't really need the car to get around the city!
The popular "Roman yellow tram" passes in our street. It is a constant, friendly presence during the day and if you don't appreciate the noise and vibrations of an early XX century city train - well, this is definitely not a suitable place for you. We know for sure this is not a real trouble for thousands of tourists coming all year long in hotels and guest houses in front of us. Of course, during the renovation works we have put soundproof windows to keep our tram friend outside...

Whatever you want to eat, you will find it just round the corner: genuine Italian pizza or kebab, typical Roman bars or Irish pubs, Italian or Chinese, Syrian, Indian restaurants... eating is surely the easiest thing to do in Rome!
There are plenty of supermarkets in the nearby but you can buy fresh foods from all over the world in the Esquilino market (just 500 mt away).
Though staying in the heart of Rome, you will be surprised to find yourself in a quiet and relaxing environment, a perfect base for your exploration of the Caput Mundi.
