House in New Orleans, USA

Lovely, restored, Victorian home in historic Garden District of New Orleans. Use of car, public swimming pool, close to great restaurants, night life, and St. Charles Ave. street car.  Sleeping for 8.  Home filled with art and antiques and close to major shopping and restaurants. Featured in several decorator magazines.
Possible use for 2nd family home in the country about 3 hours away - private pool and tennis court, bayou with canoeing. One hour from Cajun country.  Six bedrooms and sleeping for 12 persons. Exquisite grounds and private road with lovely old oak trees.
Open for all exchanges, but not usually more than 2 - 3 weeks maximum.
New Orleans was just named  Travel and Leisure Magazine's Number One Destination in the U.S.  Great restaurants, shopping, night life, jazz, gambling, historic homes, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, and numerous festivals almost every weekend.  A truly unique city in the U.S.

About Our Family

My two daughters are grown and live in another part of the country, so I have a large empty home. I am recently retired and love to travel...I usually invite my two sisters along and perhaps a friend or two. We love to see new places and experience
new cultures, as well as go to the wonderful cities in Europe, etc. My Mother is 97, so I am not usually able to take long trips of over two to three weeks.
However, I am open to your offer !!

Lifestyle

I am fortunate to have traveled a lot and seen much of the world but there is still a lot I want to see and do. Please consider an exchange in New Orleans as it is one of the most unique, fun and interesting cities in the US. I have done many exchanges and I have to say, it is one of the best things I have done to expand my horizons and experience life to its fullest.
