A nice and sunny house in the middle of Girona

Our flat offers 140m² of stillness in the heart of the Girona.
Totally restored in 2021, it has a terrace and 4 rooms. It’s a silent and sunny building in a typical neighborhood. It's 10 minutes walking from the Old town.

Easy to reach by foot:

  • Public outdoor swimming pool: 10 min
  • Central market (fresh vegetables, fish...): 10 min
  • Shopping center: 5 min
  • Train & bus station: 1 min

It’s an ideal place to stay for a family with children or for those who looks for peaceful holidays in a charming city located less than an hour (car or bus) from the best beaches in the Costa Brava.

It takes exactly half an hour to get to Barcelona centre (Passeig de Gràcia) by train, and there are trains every hour all day long.

Our Neighbourhood

Close to Barcelona, located midway between the Costa-Brava (25 km) and the Pyrenees (50 km), Girona has a privileged position. The Old Town is one of the most evocative historical centres in Catalonia, with certain elements that are unique in Europe: the Carolingian Wall, the exceptionally well conserved Jewish quarter or the Cathedral’s Gothic nave, the widest in the world.
You can also visit the bridges over the River Onyar (excellent viewing points from where to appreciate one of the most popular city scenes, the riverside houses), the city park called “la Devesa” (one of the largest in Catalonia, with hundreds of centennial slender plane trees) and the commercial centre.
Besides the beaches, within a radius of less than 40 km is possible to visit several medieval villages (Besalú, Pals, Peratallada...), prehistoric caves and sites (Serinyà, Banyoles), the first settlement of Greek civilization in Catalonia (Empúries), many protected parks (Montseny, Empordà, Montnegre) or a volcanic area (Garrotxa), among many other areas of cultural and naturalistic interest. Also several water parks and entertainment centers. In our house you will find guides, maps and all sorts of practical information about all these places.
