House in Åbyhøj, Denmark

Our house is a charming old house from 1921. It is placed only 2,5 km from the center of Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark with approx 300.000 citizens.
The house is 256 square meters in three floors. There are 4 bedrooms with 6 beds, and 1 guestroom with a sofabed.

The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, but also only a few minutes from the city center with its tourist attractions, shopping possibilities and big varieties of cafés, bars and restaurants.
Within 500 meters we have several grocery stores for daily shopping, banks, pharmacy, pizzaria and the public transport is reached in 50 meters and take you to the city in 10 minutes.

In Aarhus you are near both city and nature. We have beach, forest, marina, and a harbour area, where a new part of the city is build in these years, with a lot of creative and different achitecture. http://www.debynaerehavnearealer.dk/da.aspx

Aarhus is a vibrant mix of youthful energy and a blast from the past. Its charm is known worldwide, and that is probably why it's found on Vogue's Top 10 Places to Travel in 2017, http://www.vogue.com/13515667/top-travel-destinations-2017/. The Guardian also gives Aarhus some very nice recommendations - see the full article here: https://www.theguardian.com/travel/2017/feb/04/aarhus-denmark-capital-of-culture-city-guide-hotels-bars-restaurants?CMP=twt_gu.

In 2017 Aarhus is also European Capital of Culture - visit the webside to see the full programme: http://www.aarhus2017.dk/en/.
