House in Helsingborg, Sweden

Our home was built in 1926 and was then the home of the wellknown Swedish author Fritiof Nilsson Piraten. We have renovated the entire house and just installed a new kitchen with a fireplace.
On the first floor you find the kitchen, livingroom, diningroom, reading corner, den, toilet and an extra bedroom with separate bathroom. On the second floor you reach the outside from a large balcony that you enter from the master bedroom. Here you also find  three additional bedrooms, bathroom and toilett. In the basement there are childrens TV-room, tabletennis and laundry.
In the garden there are several places to have a barbaque or just relax on the sundeck. You can play soccer or basket ball. We truly love our home and hope you will too.

Our Neighbourhood

We live in a peaceful and friendly neighbourhood yet it is only a 20 min walk to the center of Helsingborg. There you will find a beautiful marina, nice restaurantes, shops and museums. The ferry to Denmark leaves every 20 min and you can easily bring the bikes on the boat and then explore the coastline and beaches in Denmark or visit the Island Ven.
From our home you reach the beach in Helsingborg in a 15 minutes walk. A typical Swedish tradition is to take an early morningswim, before breakfast. There is also a beautiful sauna close by.
We live very close to a beautiful park/wood where you will find running- and walking tracks as well as a lovely outdoor tennis courts. The bakery and food stores are just around the corner as well as playgrounds.
