Northern Arizona

See the spectacular scenery of Northern Arizona with my comfortable home as your base,  My home is a  modern southwestern style house in the Bradshaw moutains of northern Arizona.  It is an easy drive to Grand Canyon (2 hours),Sedona (1 hour), Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon (3 hours), Las Vegas (4 hours).   The spectacular parks of Zion National Park and Bryce National Park are about 6 hours.  Phoenix is 1 1/2 hour drive south.  Flagstaff is 1 1/2 hour northeast.
The Bradshaw mountains are delightful in April, May, August, September, October. November: warm days, cool nights.  June and July are usually hot days, cool nights.  Winters are mild days, cold nights.  You can usually ski in Flagstaff in January and February.  Many of the National Parks are closed in the winter due to snow.
My house has a large living-dining room area, with a pass-through window to the kitchen. It has a large master bathroom with queen size bed and en suite bath. The second bedroom is smaller, with a double bed and a second bath.
I have a lovely back yard where you can enjoy the private patio and watch the fountain and the birds.

Our Neighbourhood

Prescott Valley is just outside the delightful small city of Prescott in the Bradshaw Mountains.  We are 120 km from Phoenix and 120 km from Flagstaff.  (People from Phoenix have vacation homes in Prescott to escape the summer heat of Phoenix.)
Prescott is a retirement and vacation community with a lovely shady courthouse square, where there is a craft show or art festival or old west show almost every weekend.  Browsing in the many  gift shops, a stroll down the historic Whiskey Row or just a promenade in the park are favorite activities of locals and visitors.
My neighborhood in a development called Granville is about 15 km from downtown Prescott..  Our houses are fairly new, but have been here long enough to have trees and gardens.  As my guests you will have access to the clubhouse with a swimming pool, hot tub and fitness room.  Supermarkets, restaurants and general shoppping are easy to reach. about 4 km drive.

Lifestyle

Northern Arizona is such a scenic place that your  favorite activities may be traveling and sightseeing. But there is wonderful hiking everywhere.  You can camp, take a raft through the Grand canyon or a helicopter tour over it.  I love the desert and the variety of scenery.  You can visit the Grand Canyon, the spectacular red rocks of Sedona and Monument Valley.    I go to the Southern Utah Parks of Bryce and Zion, Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam of the Colorado river. Flagstaff is a wonderful little city to visit.  You may also enjoy visiting the Navajo and Hopi Indian reservations. And you are a 4 hour drive from Las Vegas.
