We are looking for approx a week exhange in the UK. Not February half term.

House in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, 40mins train to London. Great Britain.

It's a modern newly furnished 1960's build with fields to the rear garden which is a considerable size. The kitchen has recently been extended and refurbished. The main bedroom has a super king size bed. The second bedroom has two single beds. Very quiet with friendly neighbours who will look after you!
The towns of Amersham and Chesham are a 5 minute drive with regular trains to London, which is a 40 min journey.
Old Amersham is an old 16th century village with quaint pubs and cafes.
Windsor Castle - home of the Queen is 40 mins.
The Cotswolds - pretty thatched cottage villages and beautiful country side 1hr 15mins,
Bath - historic old city and cathedral, 2hrs .
Oxford - ancient university city, 1hr by car.
There are beautiful Chiltern villages with rolling hills and quaint village pubs serving English real ale. There are country walks  to pubs from our house. Many historic country houses and gardens are local. The river Thames with it's many riverside towns and villages are full of historic buildings, shops and pubs.
We have a Ford Fiesta 2009 automatic car to exchange.

We live at the end of a quiet cul de sac. We have fields at the back of our house with horses sometimes in the field next door.
There are supermarkets and shops in Chesham and Amersham about 1 mile away.
There are train stations to London from Chesham and Amersham.8 min drive with car parks.
Chesham has a theatre for shows and films. A cinema is at Hemel Hempstead about 8 miles away.
There are beautiful walks in our local countryside.
www.bing.comamersham has photos of the beautiful little town of Old Amersham with coffee and english tea shops and pubs. Many old 16th century buildings and browsing shops. Very quaint and interesting.Well worth a visit.
Waddesdon Manor. 45 minute drive - a beautiful large French style17th century mansion house and gardens. Packed with priceless furniture and objects. A day out.
The Cotswolds- 1 hr drive - an area of outstanding natural beauty. Quaint english villages, beautiful rolling hills, tea rooms,pubs,browsing shops. Picnics.
Windsor Castle - 40 mins drive - Our Queen lives here for some of the time. Visit the ancient castle and grounds.
City of Oxford -1 hr drive -, river boat rides. Visit beautiful old colleges and gardens.
Henley on Thames and Marlow 1/2 hr drive - small towns on the River Thames, Old buildings.

About Our Family

We are a couple who love the sun and relaxing outdoors.So we like our holidays to be in hot sunny places! We like gardens and historic towns and visiting them.
We have 2 daughters with one grandson who is 10 years old. Sometimes our daughter and her son come on Intervac holidays with us. We have a greenhouse for plants and would appreciate some watering of the plants. Thank you!
We like to visit the many old country pubs in our area. The real English ale is delicious!
Pam is an enthusiastic theatre lover and visits The Opera House and musicals in London.
Ian regularly runs along the valley in our neighbourhood and likes photography.

Lifestyle

We enjoy gardening and photography and visiting the many beautiful English villages near by to enjoy English pubs and sample our local beers!
