Bardonecchia is located in the Turin area, in the mountains 80 km west. It's 1350 mt high, close to the French border.
In the winter Bardonecchia is an important ski resort, in the 2006 Olympic Games has been an Olympic Site, hosting all the snowboard competitions.
Bardonecchia is renowned in summer too, there are beautiful walks and small lakes all around. There's a nice swimming pool, and many sports and activities are available: tennis courts, an adventure park, horse riding, a golf court, freeclimbing, mountain bike and roller blade.
In the surroundings there are many historical and cultural places worth a visit: Turin and its royal palaces and museums, many castles and abbeys, enogastronomical tours or, crossing the French border, the Savoie.
It's very easy to move, as Bardonecchia is connected with train along the Milan-Paris line, and by motorway.

The house is in the ancient part of the village, in a very quiet street, but very close to shops and the church. Our house is 2-storys, and our flat, about 80 sq.m., is at the ground floor, with a private garden and terrace.
The rooms are:
- 3 Bedrooms: a double bedroom, with access to the garden, and 2 bedrooms with bunk beds
- Living room, which overlooks the garden on one side and the terrace on the other side. In a corner there is the dining, in another the TV.
- Kitchen, moderne and well equipped, with fridge and freezer, owen and dishwasher.
- Bathroom, with shower and washing machine
Coming out of the livingroom, there's a porch with table and chairs where eating outside is possible.
In our private garden, about 100 sq.m. there is a big pine and on the terrace there's a ping-pong.
