Oud-Beijerland in Hoekse Waard island is ideal for families that enjoy bycicling, nature and city trips. It is a beautiful central location with historical cities Amsterdam Antwerp and Utrecht at an hours drive.
The nearby city of Rotterdam (15 min) is well known for its harbour, architecture, museums and summer festivals:

You will enjoy your stay in a low traffic area with free parking. Our small town has plenty of places for shopping and eating out.
Use our 5 bikes for trips alongside the river or go for a swim 4 km upstream. The lovely ferry to Rhoon will take bikes.
The finest sandbeaches Scheveningen and Oostvoorne are just a 40 min drive.
