House in Kennebunk, USA
Our home is located in historic small village of Kennebunk, Maine with 8,000 residents. Built in 1890, there are three bedrooms, each with large Queen size or King size beds. The house was recently painted and remodeled. There are two bathrroms, each with shower, and one bathroom has a tub. The house is on a 1/2 acre parcel of land with fenced rear yard including vegetable garden and ornamental plants. Flat screen TV, stereo receiver/CD player, and PC with high speed internet access is included. A rear deck with propane gas grill has plenty of room for dining outside and enjoying the outdoors. A small hybrid Honda Civic is available, along with 3 bicycles, 3 kayaks, and an old canoe. There is a train to Portland and to Boston and farther south with a nearby station in Wells, Maine - a 10 minute drive.
A second home in Portland, Maine is also available in addition to or instead of this home, and it is described in the Lifestyle section of this listing.
Southern Maine is a really wonderful destination for exploring the natural world and for cultural attractions.
We are a family of four, with both children living on their own - one in San Francsico and the other in Boston. I am in the environmental services industry (recycling waste and renewable energy). Molly is a social worker. We are quite flexible in our vacation plans.
