House in PARIS, France

Hello Intervac friends!
We are a Franco-Irish working couple looking to travel and show a bit of the world to our four young children while they still want to travel with us! We live in a fairly old house in a quite little street in Central Paris. We are less than 10 minutes walk from two metro stations and you can get to practically anywhere in Paris by bus. The No. 95 bus stops at the end of our street and takes about 15 minutes to get into the Louvre/Tuileries/Seine etc.. Public transport is excellent in Paris but a car exchange is available for getting out of the city.
Our house is in the Montmartre district of Paris and dates from the 1880s. Although we live in a downtown area, our street is actually a cul de sac, off the main street so there is very little noise. The house is built on three levels plus a basement and a roof terrace at the top. The basement has been converted into a spare bedroom + bathroom.
Ground floor: kitchen/dining room + main bedroom (en suite bathroom/wc)
First floor: TV / living room + 2 children's bedrooms + bathroom/shower.
Second floor: 2 children's bedrooms + veranda/kitchenette (cuisine d'été)
There is a stairs from the veranda leading on to the roof terrace.
The veranda has a kitchenette and sliding doors - perfect for eating out of doors on fine evenings.

We have a beautiful, low-profile cat (Dervla) who would need a (very small) amount of minding.
After exchanges in Florida (2012) and California (2014 & 2017), we are looking to exchange either with Scandinavia or Southern Europe this August.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Kind regards,
Neil & Raphaëlle

Our Neighbourhood

The Cité Nollez where we live is in a quiet secluded cul de sac in Montmartre, about 15 minutes walk from Sacre Coeur. It is just off Rue Ordener which has everything in terms of shops (Monoprix supermarket), restaurants, banks, specialty stores, etc. Apart from Montmartre itself and Sacre Coeur, there are some nice squares with playgrounds and a beautiful shaded cemetry (Cimetière de Montmartre) all within a few minutes walk. There is a direct bus to the Louvre / Jardin de Tuileries (# 95) and two metro stations nearby so you can get to anywhere in Paris very easily.
