Free standing house just outside Copenhagen in Hvidovre, Denmark

Our family is living in a beautiful big house in quite suburb of Copenhagen called Hvidovre. The area is very nice, it’s close to water and only a short drive from a beach. The grocery shopping is only 10 minutes’ walk and the commuter train to central Copenhagen is 12 min + 15 min train ride. The train is the best way to go to central Copenhagen, parking can be a pain.
Should you choose to visit us and Copenhagen, you can spend your time in Tivoli, Rundetaarn, Hven (Small Island where Tycho Brahe had his observatory), Danish Parliament (Christiansborg) and not forgetting Nyhavn with a wonderful atmosphere.
If you are more the outdoor type – We do have five bikes that is at your disposal. Using these it will take you a little more than ½ hour to get to Copenhagen and you can bring the bikes in S-train if you get tired. If you would like to go to the beach it’s 15 min on bike south.
We are a family of five – Mum (Cristina), Dad (Søren or Sean), Monica (Teenager), Sophia (Teenager), Olivia (The cute one;-) and a German shepherd (Ziva). Cristina’s family is from Barcelona, this is why we try to find exchange in the proximity of BCN… that be Costa Brava or Costa Dorado at least for the summer holiday. Summer holiday in Denmark (when you have kids in school) is from July and halfway into August.
Cristina works as personal Trains, Søren works as an IT consultant, Monica is in high school, Sophia and Olivia is in primary school.
The trip to the airport (CPH) takes less than 15 min also – That is important to the father of the family working as an IT consultant travelling frequently by airplane.

PS: I do plan to add some photos of the first floor (Childrens room) but they where way ot messy just now

The area is a quite and should you think of visting other parts of the main capital area of Denmark "Greater Copenhagen" are car is a must. However, for visiting Copenhagen - The proximity to the S-train (communter train) is best in class. It's safe and runs from early morning to late night.
