House in Hofbieber, Germany
Our house with 180 sqm was built in 2007. It’s a bright and open wooden Eco house. Our property is situated at the edge of the village Hofbieber with a beautiful panoramic view over the Rhön mountain range.
We have a large combined open kitchen dining living room (75 sqm)and a separated office with an additional bathroom on the ground floor.
Upstairs we have the master bedroom, three additional bedrooms, our spacious panoramic bathroom (with a 45km view) and tiny second office.
Our house consists of an artificial ventilation system with combined filters, which it makes especially suitable for allergic or asthmatic persons.

Hofbieber is a small village with 2500 inhabitants, with two super markets, restaurants, a pizzeria, a bakery and a butcher. Our neighborhood is very relaxed, the kids can play on the street which has nearly no traffic.
Our public open air swimming pool is well situated at the foot of Castle Bieberstein and the 18-hole golf course is a hilly panoramic course with views to Castle Bieberstein and the Rhön Mountains.
The Rhön an excellent area for:
Hiking - the Rhön is ranked as one of the top hiking destinantions in Germany
Biking (Road or MTB) – splendid views and calm roads
Climbing – the largest climbing spot in Hessen is just 8 km apart
Skiing – is possible from December to March on the Wasserkuppe (950m alt.) and some other mountains
Paragliding – the Wasserkuppe is known as the “Mountain of Gliders”
Gliding – Gliding was invented here, the Wasserkuppe is still the Mecca for Gliders, next to the busy airport is the gliding museum, which offers the history from the very first beginning, all the world champions from the region to the modern gliding center.

Point Alpha – as the former US Army observation post is called – was a hot spot in the Cold War. Today, Point Alpha stands testament to the historic achievement of the Americans in defending the freedom of Germany, Europe and the world at the former inner German border
