House in Copenhagen, Denmark

WE ARE FULLY BOOKED FOR 2013 - BUT PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER :-)
We live in a cozy 1920's house in a quiet neighborhood just 10 minutes (by metro) from the city centre. The house was thoroughly renovated when we bought it in 2009, and everything (but the roof and bricks) is pretty much brand new!
The house consists of a ground floor with living room, dining room, kitchen with access to the garden, toilet with a shower and a guest bedroom. Upstairs are the (three) childrens rooms, the master bedroom, the bathroom with a tub, that will fit two adults (or an incredible number of children) and a toilet.
There are sleeping facilites for six adults, one baby and two older children.

Our Neighbourhood

Valby is one of the only real suburban areas to be situated close to Copenhagen centre. Ours is an old, quiet, leafy neighborhood. It is very safe with a lot families and public playgrounds, but also close to the hussle and bustle of big city life with good connections to the city centre. We have a small never-closing kiosk at the end of our street and two smallish local shopping malls close by. All the houses have old gardens with tall trees and you will frequently come across a squirrel raiding one of the numerous walnut trees. The Carlsberg Breweries is just up the hill.
We are quite close to central Copenhagen with the beautiful Tivoli amusement park (a must-see especially at night when it's illuminated), the Little Mermaid, the Queens castle, the old centre of town, the best gourmet restaurant in the world (Noma), the biggest shopping centre in Scandinavia and a number of other sights.
You can get a pretty good idea of  what "touristy Copenhagen" is like in this short film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlgQbwkmfew
If you fancy a trip across the water, Sweden is just a 25 minute trainride away. I very much recommend a daytrip to Malmø which is a very nice city with great swedish food and good shopping.
