Child friendly house in Veenendaal, Netherlands

We really enjoy swapping homes with others. We've done it more than 15 times, all across Europe.

Our house is pretty big and great for families. It's located near Veenendaal, close to National Park De Utrechtse Heuvelrug and De Veluwe, which are beautiful areas with forests, countryside, and the Rhine River. Our place is quiet and right next to the forest.

Our home has a spacious living room and five bedrooms upstairs. There's plenty of room for everyone. In the backyard, there's a nice garden with a big trampoline, some grass for playing and sitting, and even a playground and football area nearby. We have lots of Lego, games, and a Playstation4 for entertainment.

Veenendaal is in the center of the Netherlands and has about 70,000 people. There are many shops, and a railway station with easy connections to Utrecht (30 minutes), Amsterdam (1 hour), The Hague (1 hour with the coast at Scheveningen), and Rotterdam. If you have a car, the A12 highway is nearby, making it just a one-hour drive to Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam – perfect for exploring the Netherlands!

In Veenendaal, there's a nice swimming pool. About 10 kilometers away, there's a zoo in Rhenen, and another one in Arnhem (30 minutes). In Arnhem, you can also visit an open-air museum. There are plenty of opportunities for cycling on the scenic cycling roads in the Netherlands.
