The Coach House has 17th Century origins,  formerly linked to The Old Malt House next door,  the oldest house in the village. It pre dates Blenheim Palace.  Blenheim Palace, a World Heritage Site, can be viewed 30 metres up  Park Lane where there is an entry point into the Park.
The Coach House was extensively refurbished and enlarged in 2007 with modern interior design whilst retaining attractive period features.
The site of The Coach House overlooks both Blenheim Park and an adjacent spinney to the south west, with views into the park and the River Glyme
Bladon is a village on the edge of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds located approximately 1 ½ miles south of historic Woodstock which is served by the A44 Oxford Road and is approximately 7 miles from Oxford. The grave of Sir Winston Churchill is to be found in  Bladon churchyard.  The village has its own pub, The White House.

Parking: space to park two cars, the drive is shared  with The Old Malt House
Location
Bladon is convenient for Oxford and has access to the nearby M40. There are regular local bus services to and from Oxford and there are rail links at Long Hanborough station, one mile away, into Oxford, Reading and London. Oxford to London by train is 1 hour 10 mins. The train also travels directly to Worcester and Hereford. Bladon is just one hour's drive from London Heathrow, Birmingham and Cheltenham. Shakespeare's Stratford is 45 minutes away. Kirtlington Golf Club is a 10-minute drive away.
There are local shopping facilities and other services  in the nearby towns of Woodstock, Witney and Kidlington.
Bladon is ideally situated for visiting Oxford, the great academic city just seven miles away. It is well placed for visiting many other sites of interest, including Rousham House and Gardens, the abandoned village of Hampton Gay, and a Roman Villa. Bladon is an ideal starting point for exploring the Cotswolds. You could do a leisurely loop of a drive in just one day and see some of the area’s loveliest market towns and villages including Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway.
Woodstock is one of England's most beautiful and famous country towns. Constructed largely from Cotswold stone, its buildings date from the 12th century. It is host to a wealth of interesting shops, restaurants and historical buildings - including the Oxfordshire County Museum. Situated only 8 miles (13 km) from 'The Dreaming Spires' of the historic University of Oxford, on the edge of the spectacular Cotswolds and huddling next to the gates of Blenheim Palace - home of the 11th Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Woodstock has much to offer its visitors.
