4 bedroom family home, DUBLIN city centre, Ireland. We have agreed an exchange for the summer of 2016.

We live in a very comfortable house in a great central location. It is a large Victorian terraced house, 2 km from Dublin city centre. The ground floor has a sitting room adjoining a dining room and there is a modern kitchen extension, renovated in 2010, which opens directly onto a sheltered garden. The garage has also been converted into a games room with a table-tennis (ping-pong) table. The garden is enclosed and is on the one level, making it perfect for children. We have garden furniture and a barbecue and it is a lovely place for eating outside, weather permitting!

There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 large single bedrooms. The bedrooms are all very spacious, and both single rooms have ample room for a second mattress suitable for an extra child or two. There is also plenty of space to play and lots of toys, lego, games etc. as well as a piano, a violin and a couple of guitars..

We live within walking/cycling distance from the city centre, the house is less than 2 km to O'Connell street, the city centre. We are also near a number of bus routes. Some nearby tourist attractions include the Phoenix Park, the Botanic Gardens and the National Museum, as well as all of the city's theatres and galleries.  Dublin is a great cultural centre and we can give you any information that you need.

Although we live near the city centre we are also an easy distance to the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains and Dublin's beaches. It is even possible to do a day trip to Belfast and the Titanic centre, and Dublin is less than three hours from the beautiful Conamara.

In the immediate area there are many small shops for convenient shopping.  We can recommend a number of good local pubs and restaurants.  While it is very central, Rathdown Road is a quiet street with great neighbours.
