Spacious house by the seaside in Kalmar, south of Sweden.
A quiet location 100 m from the sea, yet close to Kalmar city. Quiet area with friendly and helpful neighbours. Wonderful nature and recreation areas right outside the door.
The 200 m2 villa has 3 bedrooms. Two of them on the groundfloor; the master bedroom with a doublebed and a smaller bedrooms with a single bed 1,20 cm. On the upper floor is one spacious bedroom with either a single bed or a double bed, upon request. There is a make-up bedsofa for two persons in the big middle room. That makes five + two beds for grown ups. The house is not suitable for very small children because of the steep open stairs.
The garden is facing south with almost complete privacy. You will have wonderful summer mornings on the terrace with only the birds accompanying you after your early morning swim. Ours is the last villa on the cape with a wonderful oakslope down to the tongue of land which point east and towards the sunrise over the island of Öland.
Here are very good oportunities for nature experiences like kayaking, sailing, golfing, biking or hiking. We live on the edge of a big nature recreation area with forrests and sea. Kalmars golf course is situated 1,5 km from our house and holds two 18-hole courses. There are two nice public beaches around the corner and fantastic long sandy beaches on the big island of Öland, where you will get after 20 minutes - two hours by car, depending on which of the many beaches you choose. Other activities are about 5 km away.
Our wishes & dreams:
We would love long weekend-exchanges all year in Europe, up to one week.
We love skiing, non.simultaneous exchange with a ski-resort would be great.
For the summer we are dreaming of visiting realtives in Australia, so Australia and/or New Zeeland would be great.
My daughter is dreaming about New York :)
We have made four enjoyable exchanges so far, three in Sweden, and one combined in Paris and Normandy. We would love to visit European cities like London, Rome, Venice, mediterranian areas and skiing is always interesting. We are open to most suggestions.
We welcome you to our place for a varied and active vaccation if that is your wish, or a relaxing joyful retreat if that is what you are looking for.
We take good care our house, and we will care for your house and property as if it was our own.
Best regards from all of us
