Beautiful Biedermeier era house in Vienna/Austria 280m2, 2000m2 gardens
The main house was built in 1724 and is in the family since 1786 (for 29 years it was rent to a famous Austrian poet, Hugo von Hofmannsthal((whos theaterplay "Jedermann" is still played every year at the Salzburg Festival!)) because the grandgrandgrand... mother was widowed and leased her summer house, so we still feel the "genius loci" here).
Our house was built a houndred years later for the young family members to have balls. It is very bright and friendly and one can see that the 2000m2 garden was a darling since 150 years. It was totally renovated and enlarged by my husbands parents and is now 280m2, with two bathrooms two living rooms, a veranda and 3 bedrooms.
Since 2022 we have a large swimming pond 4m x 12m in the garden 😊!
We live in the outskirts of Vienna, but within two minutes to the public transport of Vienna City.
Behind our house there is a small river and here the Vienna Woods start, a lovely area with lots of hiking trails and cosy mountain huts to eat and drink. In 10min walking distance there starts the wine region of Perchtoldsdorf with premium wines and lots of really typical Heurigen, where the locals go (in best case after a long hiking) There is also a big public pool in and outdoor.
The southwest of Vienna ist a good starting point of course for the center of Vienna, but also for the rest of Austria... the lake Neusiedl and the Wachau (45min), Rax and Schneeberg, both over 2000m height are real Mountains to hike, or take the cable car...
Slovenia/Bratislava (45min)... a nice boat trip on the river Danube!, Hungary/Budapest (3h) and Czecoslovakia/Prag (4h) both with an excellent train connection, the Austrian Lake Distrikt ... Ausseerland (2,5h)

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la maison est très agréable et l'environnement superbe. Tout est pratique , un petit supermarché à 2 pas et des transports tout à côté. La voiture nous permis de découvrir la forêt viennoise et la région viticole.

We have four lovely daughters, but they already moved out to their own places, and two granddaughters.
Thommy is a veterinary with his cabinet besides our house, I am employed in a pharmacy near by.
We have a sweet cat that may visit you but my mother feeds him..
