Unavailable for exchange at the moment
Exchange dates Duration
April 12, 2021 - February 04, 2023 4 weeks

Being retired allows us much flexibility in our travel availability. We would be open to some exchanges being from a long weekend to a month.

We live where others vacation!!!! 2021 #1 beach in the US...St. Pete Beach

Welcome to paradise!!!
Our 2/2 condo is our full time home, making it fully equipped if you decide to cook every meal (in our 2020 remodeled kitchen) or conveniently located to walk to many restaurants. The master has 2 twins making a king bed while the guest room has an extremely comfortable pull out queen sofa bed. We also have two twin air mattresses and one queen air mattress available with plenty of linens, pillows, and blankets for all of your sleep needs. The master bathroom has a tub and the 2nd bathroom has a shower. Our screened patio/lanai faces Boca Ciega Bay with seating and dining space. Our community has two pools, a fishing dock, shuffle board courts, and gas grills.
Trip Advisor 2021 just listed our beautiful beach as the #1 beach in the US and #5 in the world. Conde Nast Traveler 2020 ranked St. Petersburg, one of the top cities to visit. Our white sand beaches, dolphin spotting, art scene (museums include the Dali, Chiluly, Holocaust, Fine Arts, etc.) and restaurants are just part of what makes us a wonderful "hidden gem." A short walk across the street will put your toes in the sand where you will pass the famous Don CeSar Hotel as you collect shells walking to Pass-a-Grille. If kayaking and fort exploration is what you enjoy, then Ft. DeSoto Park is the place for you. Check out John's Pass for jet skiing, boating, deep sea fishing, shopping, and so much more. We are 45 minutes to downtown Tampa (Busch Gardens and more), 2 hours to Orlando FL, the home of Mickey and Minnie, and 4 hours to drive to Miami where you can sight-see the famous Miami Beach or visit the Florida Everglades, the legendary River of Grass. Most guests visiting St. Pete beach fly into the Tampa International Airport or the St. Pete/Clearwater Airport.

About Our Family

Our family began exchanging homes when our four now adult children were young. We completed our first exchange in England with twins that were five, and two daughters who were then ten and twelve. We exchanged cars and animal care and had the time of our lives. Two years after that, we traveled to the French Alps and again had an incredible experience. Two years later we were headed to Ireland when two of our children were diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and our son had JUST come out of the hospital. We could not travel but paid for our guests to stay on the beach for two weeks as we could not disappoint another family. They visited our home and we played "tourist" along with them several times. After that, as the children grew and life became busy, and home exchanging came to a halt. We are now retired and hoping to make trips in just the US at this time. Depending on the size of the exchange property, maybe it would be possible for our children to be included in the trip as well.
