Modern flat in Stockholm, close both to the city and lake Mälaren
Our flat is located around 10 minutes from Stockholm Centralstation by the metro, two minutes walk to the lake Mälaren, where you can swim. There are also nice walks to be made in the area - or you could use our bikes.
The flat is in a newly built house (2012) and has four bedrooms over 100 square meters. There is one master bedroom, two kids-rooms and a spare room with a sofa bed that sleeps 1-2 persons. The flat has two toilets, one with a shower and one with a bath. Here you will also find a washing machine and a tumble drier. It has an open plan solution with semi combined kitchen and livingroom, from where you reach the balcony.

Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Arlanda - 40 km
The neighborhood is quiet and very family oriented with several playgrounds close by. It is also only a few minutes’ walk to the lake Mälaren, where it is possible to swim.
A few minutes the other way, you will find the metro station, Örnsberg. In the nearby area there are a few places for food, a bakery and cafes. Also Aspudden and Midsommarkransen is close by, where you find even more places to eat.
The popular area called Hornstull in Stockholm (on Södermalm) is just three stops away on the metro, and to get to the Central Station in the city, takes 15 minutes.
You can walk a long the water to The old dynamite factory of Alfred Nobel, the founder of the Nobel Prize. Now the place is a restaurant and café called Vinterviken. In the same area there is another café and if you walk even further you will come to a lake, Trekanten, where you can swim (or skate during the winter). Close to Trekanten there is a shopping mall called Liljeholmen. Using the underground Liljeholmen is only two stops away.

About Our Family
We are a family of four. I am a journalist, working as an editor at a news broadcaster and my husband is an interaction designer. Together we have two kids, one boy aged 15 and one girl who is 13. We love to travel together and before corona we went on several trips by train around Europe. 2019 we did our first exchange, with a family in Barcelona.
Lifestyle
We are a family that loves to travel. Now when the kids are a bit bigger we are looking forward to show them more of the world. The summer 2019, we did our first exchange with a family i Barcelona, and really enjoyed the experince.
The kids are into circus, skiing, soccer and swimming. I like to run and usually look up a race to participate in when I travel. My husband plays in a band in his spare time. Besides that we like to go to concerts, eat out and visit music festivals.
