Large, 2-storey townhouse in Yaletown, downtown Vancouver

We live in a large, 2-floor townhouse in Yaletown, in the heart of downtown Vancouver - the most accessible and best location possible, in a 25 year old building. The townhouse has high ceilings throughout, an extremely rare feature in downtown; the unit was originally zoned as a commercial unit, so it has all the benefits of a commercial unit.

The fully-enclosed kitchen - another rarity in downtown due to space - was newly renovated, so please be delicate because we spent a small fortune on it; the rest of the house was renovated about 15 years ago. We have all appliances, including an air fryer, steamer. We have full size washer and dryer in a large laundry room. There are portable air purifiers in downstairs living room as well as upstairs. The unit has direct street access, so you do not have to bother with elevators.

We also have a 2 year old standup Yamaha piano that we ask you be delicate with; flat screen TVs in living room and both bedrooms; a BBQ stove outside and one of the larger patios in downtown. There are 2 full bathrooms upstairs, and a powder room downstairs.

There's 1 parking spot included. We've lived here for 15 years; we can even include use of our Honda Element SUV if you get your own insurance and can prove you are a responsible driver. We have kids snowboards and an adult snowboard for your use if you come during the winter, along with clothes and gear you can borrow. The townhouse is considered incredibly large for a downtown location and has direct access to street level, another rarity.

We are located in downtown Vancouver - specifically Yaletown, a trendy and highly coveted area - in one of the most coveted travel cities in the world during the months of July->September, and again in the winter because world-class skiing at Whistler is a short 90-minute drive away (along with several local mountains). The location is extremely accessible to multiple bridges to get out of downtown, very bikeable, and only 10 minute walk to waterfront. We are half a block from Robson St, the most well-known shopping and entertainment street in Vancouver, and 1 block away from all the bars and restaurants in the middle of Yaletown. We are a short, 5-10 minute walk away from both arenas (BC Place and Rogers Arena) 10-15 minute walks to Coal Harbour, Gastown and Chinatown.

The location could not be ay better; it scores: 96 walking score, 100 transit score, 83 biking score; 5-10 minute walk to both skytrain lines. You won't find a better neighborhood to enjoy Vancouver. It is

Across the street is a firehall, so it can get loud in the daytimes, but the fire engines usually drive half a block away before they turn on their sirens. Unfortunately, being in downtown, some level of noise is unavoidable no matter where you live.

We are within walking distance of many grocery stores, both high end and more economical ones, and within walking distance of Costco. You don't even need a car (my wife did not drive for the first 10 years we lived here).
