House by Lake Tyrifjorden.
Lots of opportunities for relaxed country living, but only one hour away from Oslo. My house has two bedrooms and two baths. It has a modern kitchen, a dining and relaxing zone. A second lounge has also a bed available. Outside I have a garden house for eating and relaxing. I also have a terrasse and a grassy area for games. There is a beach area 150 mesters from my house which can be used for swimming, kayaking and SUP. Three kayaks and a SUP is available for guests. I also have another listing in the north of Norway, see NO50639.

I live in the country, but close to amenities. Ten minutes away is Vik, where there are few shops, a pharmacy and medical doctors. In addition there is a bus service to Oslo every hour from Vik, almost 24 hours a day. Fifteen minutes away is the city of Hønefoss with a population of 35 000. This is where I work and the city has everything one needs. Oslo is an hour away by car and the new Munch museum is a big attraction now in addition to the Viking museum and many other interesting adventures. Hadeland Glassverk is a glass factory from the 1700th century by lake Randsfjorden (40 minutes by car). Still operating and with a museum and several shops. Almost all my maternal family back in time have worked at Hadeland. In addition, not too far from Hadeland, is the Kistefos art museum, which has an international reputation, and the newest addition, The Twist, has been named by New York Times as a "must see" cultural statement.
Other than that, cycling, kayaking or walking in the wonderful countryside surrounding my home.
