Rustic house in a mountain village
Our house was built in the early 1900's. We bought it 3 years ago and remodeled it. On the first floor is the entrance, on the second floor is the kitchen and living room. On the third floor are the rooms.
It has a large and open kitchen/living room with a dishwasher. In the living room there is a stove with a very nice view.
There are three rooms. Room one has a bathtub and a double bed. Room two has a double bedand a baby bed. Room three has 2 double beds. On the bedroom floor there is a small living room. There are two dry toilets, which are very easy to use, they are emptied in our garden. The garden is 20 steps from the house. The chickens are in another garden that we share with the neighbors, if you want you can take the eggs but if you dont want them, neighbors will pick them up.
We can lend you at the same time a wooden chalet without water and without electricity It is very rustic but in a very pretty setting.

Counozouls is a very quiet village of 50 inhabitants at an altitude of 1000m in the Pyrenees. Surrounded by forest with a preserved biodiversity. You will come across stags, hinds, hares, etc... You can do a lot of walks/hikes, and sport river. Itinerant traders pass by to supply the village throughout the week. We are near the Cathar castles. Near Carcassonne, medieval city. Near the Mediterranean as well as Spain which is 1h30 away. Good spot for win lovers. September/October is stag slab season, a phenomenon you can see/hear from the village square.
