A beautiful home, very private, incredible views, with pool

St Pantaleon is a lovely little village in the heart of the Luberon. Just 2 kms from Goult, 4 kms from Gordes and 5 kms from Roussillon, St Pantaleon itself has a lovely 13th Century church, and a great bar restaurant just ten minutes walk away. The Luberon is the heart of Provence, with spectacular landscapes of vineyards and lavender. Our 'perched' hill top villages, daily markets, and incredible local produce are simply amazing. Les Papillons, our home, is delightful, even if I do say so myself! The views are stunning, and the colours of sunrise and sunset are mind blowing. We have three bedrooms, the main bedroom is en-suite with a walk in wardrobe. There are two further bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is typically Provencal, with all the latest technology and comfort.

Vineyards, olive trees, lavender fields, perched villages, 13th century churches, daily markets, incredible produce, we are entirely spoilt in the Luberon! It really is the most gorgeous area. It isn't the cheapest for eating and drinking, but the quality is amazing. The Luberon is a mecca for cycling and walking. We have kayaking just 20 minutes away on the river Sorgue. We have countless brocante and antique markets and shops all around us, with Isle sur la Sorgue being the antiques centre, there are nearly 300 antique centres in this small town. It is a super town, with several canals running through its centre... it is one of those places in Provence that you have to see. Pair that with the views from our property, you won't want to leave the lovely Luberon. If you are into cycling, we have bikes you can borrow, and from our house to the top of Mt Ventoux, it is 64kms, we have done it a few times, it is not for the faint hearted!!

About Our Family

We are a semi retired married couple, Peter & Hannah, both fit and energetic, enjoying lots of walking and cycling. We are professional eaters, drinkers and travellers...! I am English, Peter is Australian, and we divide our time between Australia and Europe. We see a lot of my two sisters and their families, I have two nieces and a nephew and we may include them in our travels on occasion and where it is suitable, the children are all above 10. We are exceptionally clean, tidy and house proud, and hope to swap with like minded families.
