Our son Loek is following a one-year traineeship at the Vancouver General Hospital. Loek and his wife have 2 small children, aged 4 and 2. We would like to visit them. They live in an apartment close to the hospital, too small to receive us for more than a few days. So we are looking for shelter for ourselves. We would also like to explore Vancouver and its surroundings. Depending on the weather we head towards the mountains or to Vancouver Island. |

Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Schiphol - 30 minutes,, 18 km
Bosch en Vaart is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Haarlem. located around the beautiful city forest de Hout. The district has a wide variety of stately homes and the environment and design of the neighborhood is green and open, making it wonderfully quiet living. It is close to the center of Haarlem, so all amenities are nearby.
There are many sports facilities within walking distance. For example, next to De Hout you will find the oldest football club in the Netherlands, Koninklijke HFC, and there is a tennis club and a cricket field. Supermarkets and delicatessens are within walking distance
The Bosch en Vaart district is extremely well located in relation to the Haarlem city center and the roads. In an average of 5 minutes you can be in the center and in 10 minutes you can already drive on the A9 towards Amsterdam or Utrecht. The beach (Zandvoort or Bloemendaal) is easily accessible by bike (30 min) or car (15 min) or train, bus, (25 min),
