House in Carrigaline, Co. Cork, Ireland

Our home is a spacious detached bungalow in a large garden situated between the town of Carrigaline and historic Crosshaven. The sunroom is perfect for relaxing, it leads onto the deck which has furniture, heater and barbecue for outdoor dining in a secluded garden. In front we have a patio beside a little pond to catch the late evening sun. Our home is completely refurbished, it has a large fully equipped kitchen, utility room, two bathrooms, piano, large 3D flatscreen tv (satellite), DVD, Wii,PS4 etc. We have a vegetable plot and tomatoes in greenhouses in season. We overlook the Owenabue Estuary beside which there is a walkway on the old railway track leading to Crosshaven (magnificent yachting village), several beaches nearby, including Fountainstown (5 mins drive) with its beautiful sandy beach and rugged clifftop walks.

We live close to the sea, there are lots of beaches and cliff top walks. We spend a lot of time in Crosshaven in the Summer sitting outside drinking coffee at River's End or going for food/barbecues/craft beer/local cider at Cronin's Pub. Kinsale is just down the road a great place to relax too. We sometimes pop across to Cobh last port of call of the Titanic and still a destination for cruise liners; Midleton great farmers market and of course Irish whiskey; Youghal still has its medieval walls and an amazing beach. Cork city is a great place to walk around. At the weekends we're often in the English Market finding really good food or having a coffee in one of the many cafes around town. Great pubs too, the Marquee concerts in the Summer and all kinds of night life for the younger set
