We are looking for two exchanges. The first in early August to coincide with the Edinburgh Festival for a week or 10 days in the UK. The second in September in Europe. In both instances, our preference is for an exchange with somewhere coastal or access to coast. |

Attractive first floor flat in Newhaven area of Edinburgh, a few minutes from the seafront
We have exchanged on two Edinburgh properties, before moving recently to our current location. The apartment is on the first floor of a block with five others. Belvedere Park is in a quiet cul-de-sac with off street parking. There is a large open plan lounge and dining room with a balcony with space to sit out on and enjoy the afternoon and evening sun; a well-designed and compact kitchen, two bathrooms (one with bath and shower), two bedrooms and an office. All main rooms have large windows that create an environment with a lot of light. The apartment is comfortably furnished, with all the appliances and electronics that any guest would need. Residents have private access to their own park nearby. The New Haven area was historically a fishing village and still retains a pretty working harbour (five minutes walk away). There are café’s, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. The city centre is a 20 minute bus or tram ride.
