Havdhem, Sweden

We have found an exchange for the summer of 2025.

This is our summer cottage in the countryside close to the Baltic Sea with fields and forests near. It is very simple standard in the cabin without running water but with electricity included. We have a combustion toilet in the outdoor terrace and a simple outdoor shower. If you like to spend your holidays in simple conditions, this is the place for you.

After a short walk of ten minutes or so you reach the sea - to see a sunset in the ocean is unbeatable! A further 1.5 kilometers to the north you will find a sandy beach with a bathing jetty.

Gotland is a small island where the distanses are short. Within 100 km from the house we reach sea-stacks, fishing villages, meadows and close to 100 midieval churches. The ancient city of Visby with its city wall (3 km long), long history and many roses is filled with activity during the summer.

You will need a car to take you around the island so we amight be able to lend you ours if you don't bring your own.

In the first week of August (7-14) there´s a festival called “Medieval week” all over the island but mostly in Visby. During that week you can see tournaments, visit the medieval market, see fire shows and many, many more activities.
