House in Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland

Our home is a bright and spacious two-storey house, recently re-built and modernised, in the county town of Elgin in the north-east of Scotland. Elgin lies on the A96 fifty eight kilometres from Inverness and one hundred kilometres from Aberdeen, both of which have airports, but is equally accessible from either Glasgow or Edinburgh airports, about three and a half hours’ drive away. The house has a spacious lounge, a formal dining room, a large dining kitchen, utility room and shower room on the ground floor, while upstairs there is a master bedroom with en-suite facilities, two further double bedrooms, a bathroom and a study. Weather permitting, al fresco dining can be enjoyed either on the ground-floor patio or the upstairs balcony. There is off-street parking for one vehicle.
