House in Glastonbury, Great Britain

Our home is a large detached house set on the side of Glastonbury Tor with panoramic views across the Somerset Levels. The house can be seen from across the levels. It is the top whitish house on the slopes of the tor in the primary photo.
At the front is a large deck where you can sit and relax and enjoy the views whilst eating, drinking or having a barbecue.
The house is on three levels. On the ground floor is a fully equipped laundry room. Next to this is a garage and a music room/gym.
On the garden level is a large living room, dining room and hallway which all have french doors opening onto the deck. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a cloakroom. There is also a study leading out into the garden and the side patio. There is a large garden which is full of fruit, vegtables and flowers during the summer.
On the third floor are four large bedrooms one with en-suite bathroom and the family bathroom. The house is modern and very comfortable.

Our Neighbourhood

Glastonbury is set in the middle of Somerest. It is a small town with a full range of shops both in the town and nearby Street which is the centre for a large oultet shopping village. Glastonbury is famous for its ruined abbey which dates back to Henry 8th There are many places of historical and religious interest in the town. There are many lovely walks as well as a range of leisure facilities. 8Kms away is the beautiful city of Wells with it's cathedral dating back toi the 13th century. There are the lovely Mendip hills with walks, climbing, potholing, horse riding. To the North are the cities of Bath and Bristol. Again with many interesting places to visit. Bath is an old city with a roman bath which has recently been opened as a spa facility. The coast is within an easy drive and can offer sandy beaches to the west or rugged limestone formations to the south.
