3-bedroom apartment close to park
The construction of the building was completed in 2019. We moved in in Summer 2019.
The apartment has about 106 m2 and consists of:
3 bedrooms (bedroom 1 with double bed, 1 bedroom with 1m40 bed, 1 bedroom with 90cm single bed, we use this as an office currently)
2 bathrooms (each with a shower)
1 small office-den where we also hang our laundry, and a corridor ;)
1 open kitchen-living room with a table for up to 8 people, 2 couches (one is a pull-out)
The kitchen is large and well equipped, since we love cooking & eating. Fridge & freezer, DW, mixer/blender, espresso machine, etc. Bathroom 1 has a washer & dryer.
The apartment is south-west facing and is bright. Since the building is new (energy efficient) the indoor temperature is pleasant throughout the year (blinds, ventilation).
On the loggia we have a table for about 4 and a hammock. Please do water our plants indoors and outdoors. You may get to harvest some berries and grapes.

About the neighborhood
We live in a recently created neighborhood called "Sonnwendviertel"
The design of the neighborhood took city planners a few years since they aimed at the promotion of social relationships through communal areas and participation of the people that live here. There is a large park but also small inviting spaces between the buildings where people can meet outdoors without a need for consumption / expense. There is ample room to play frisbee, picknick, work-out, etc.The neighbourhood is a good mix of old and new.
Currently there is a few restaurants, cafés, groceries, 2 supermarkets, indoor climging closeby.

Public Transport:
Tram D takes you to Quartier Belvedere, Karlsplatz/Opera, the Museumsquartier, University - i.e. the 1st district / old town.
Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and Subway U1 are also in walking distance.
Even swimming & sailing is only a bike ride or few subway stops away at Alte Donau.

We are a family of 4. Ramin & Vera the parents, and 2 sons - Nima (19) and Atin (16).
Nima has recently moved out, we use his bedroom as an office now but keep a single bed for guests.
Atin & Nima may not be part of the exchange since sometimes they have other plans.
We joined intervac in 2011 and had very successful exchanges with Canada, Portugal, France, the UK, Spain and the Netherlands. We are looking forward to meet our next swap partners.
