Our house is the perfect starting point to explore other cultural places like Bruges, Ghent, Brussels and Amsterdam. Nature is within reach: from the Belgian and Dutch coast (Zeeland) to the Ardennes.
Travel distances by car:
Brughes (1h)
Brussels (45 min)
Ghent (45 min)
Oostende/ coast (1h)
Waulsort / belle epoque village in Wallonie/ 1h30 drive
Amsterdam (1h45)
Rotterdam (1h)
The Hague (1h20),
Köln (2h)
Ardennes (2h)
Zeeland coast (1h)
By high speed train:
Paris (2h)
Amsterdam (1h10).

We are Jacques (64) opera house planning manager, Inge (50) school teacher ethics and tango-dancer, Louis (19) our student history, rugby player and animal lover. We love culture and nature, a combination we are looking for during our holidays.

In earlier days our lively neighbourhood (Zurenborg), was called 'little Paris'; the famous art nouveau street Cogels Osylei (www.aviewoncities.com/antwerp/zurenborg.htm) is part
of it. Lively heart of our 'quartier' is a square with pubs, restaurants and a children's playground on 300 mtr. from our house.

Use our bikes to discover Antwerp. Find more information about Antwerp on http://www.antwerpen.be/eCache/BDE/34/463.html. Our 3 floor house was built in 1885 and has been renovated several times, the last time in 2000 when we bought it. We combine modern taste with original old elements. For the renovation we mostly used ecological materials.
We love to live in our cosy, light and spacious home. Ground floor living (35m) and open kitchen (40m) are connected. master bedroom (16m, with a bed of 2mtrs length), study (20m) and bathroom with bath and shower are located on the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor there are 2 more bedrooms with 3 beds (1 double & 1 single bed). Washing machine, clothes dryer and freezer in basement. There is a toilet on each floor. Our sunny garden (65m) is the perfect place for summer evening diner.

On walking distance you will find a big supermarket, organic foodshop, pharmacy, bakery, public transport, outdoor and indoor swimming pools and fitness centre, as well as highway A12 and train station. City centre of Antwerp is only 2,5 kms away.
And still our house is a very quiet place.
Please note that the Google Earth photo of our house is not up to date. We renovated our façade drastically since 2009.
We are happy to take care of your pets.

About Our Family

We live in a big city and we love culture, art, good food and a social life. We also like to take some rest in our garden, to read or to have good talks with people.
We love walking in nature.
In July 2022 we will travel with 4 (us and Louis (20) and his girlfriend Isabel). In August we will travel the two of us.
