Calgary Alberta

Our house in Calgary is in a perfect location from which to explore everything the city has to offer! We live in a quiet and picturesque residential neighbourhood, with many parks and green spaces, including amenities such as playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming and wading pools, etc. Additionally, it is a very short walk or bike ride to access Calgary's excellent recreational pathway system for cycling, running, walking or rollerblading. Although we live in a residential area, we are right in the centre of the city. Both downtown Calgary and the trendy Kensington area are just a short walk from our house. There you will find some of the city's best dining, shopping, and cultural offerings such as theatres, museums and galleries. It is also possible to bike to the Calgary Zoo, Fort Calgary and even Heritage Park from our home. If you visit during the Calgary Stampede, it is very easy to access all Stampede activities from our home. Any goods or services that you may require during your visit, you will be able to obtain within a short walk from our house, as there are many shops, services, restaurants, cafes, etc. within a few blocks.

If you love nature and the outdoors, you will love our part of the world! The Rocky Mountains offer countless opportunities for hiking, climbing, camping, canoeing or kayaking, rafting, cycling (mountain and road), golfing, horseback riding, skating, skiing (nordic and downhill), wildlife spotting, or simply sightseeing and enjoying nature. All of these activities are accessible just a short drive away in a multitude of parks and wilderness areas such as Canmore and Kananaskis Country, Banff National Park, Yoho National Park, Waterton National, Park Kootenay National Park, and Jasper National Park. If you can tear yourself away from the mountains, there are many other beautiful areas and cultural and historic sights within easy driving distance. Those include the Badlands, Dinosaur Provincial Park, the Royal Tyrrell Museum, Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, Fort Macleod, etc.
