House in the South of Navarra, Spain

Our second home is an old house where we are trying to preserve the ancient elements.
It has a wine cellar, a ground floor, a first floor and an attic.
The wine cellar is very ancient and was built in a typical construction with bricks and stones.
The first floor consists of: three bedrooms, the bathroom, the kitchen and the living room
It is a very comfortable and sunny holyday house. From the bedroom’s windows you can see the landscape.
We are very happy there, it provides a lot of energy and relax, and we think other people can feel the same.

Our Neighbourhood

Our holydays house is in the Spanish town of Villafranca, in the south of the old Kingdom of Navarre, in a region named La Ribera (The Riverside), where its outstanding vegetables and wines are famous.
The rivers Aragón and Arga are very close, and it is possible to do enjoyable walks walking or cycling. We have at your disposal three bicycles for adults and one for children.

All the photos are of Villafranca.
Near the town you can visit:
The Natural Park of Bardenas Reales. One of the biggest deserts in Europe.

Tudela, 35 km, one of the most important cities of Arab and Jewish origin in Spain and Europe.
Olite, 32 km, with a wonderful Castle-Palace, the seat of the Royal Court of the kingdom of Navarra  in the Middle Ages.
And only 19 km. away, Ujué, a delightful medieval village.
Pamplona, (65 km, high speed way). The capital of Navarra, famous around the world by its "fiesta" from 6th to 14th July (San Fermín).
Pilgrim' s way of Santiago in Navarra
Dinosaurs : 74 Km. to visit Enciso Paleontological Centre. You would visit the route where the dinosaurs left his tracks.
