On the French riviera: Beautiful apartment in typical Nice building from 1900.

The building is one of the most beautiful in the “Libération” area.
Across the street is a tram station, and the tram will take you to central Nice or to the beach in ten minutes. The main railroad station is only two stops (or ten minutes’ walk) away, and there you also find the airport bus.
The three room apartment is on second floor (no lift) with tall windows and two balconies facing south. Large, bright living / dining room, open kitchen with all equipment. Sleeping room with large double bed. A large study with single bed. Bathroom with tub and showers.
The apartment was thoroughly renovated 15 years ago in a way which combines the original style with modern amenities. As you may notice on the pictures there are remains of the old frescoes in the ceilings.

The Area
A charming, up-and-coming area.
It’s a lively, popular, and very “Nice” quarter just north of the city center, and with few or no tourists. On the Place Libération and in the nearest streets there is a very large, daily food market – and a number of cafés and restaurants. Although it is a lively area the nights are quiet.
The situation with a tram stop on the doorstep makes it ideal for exploring the new and the old parts of Nice, with its Italian character and green areas.
The Côte d’Azur is one of the most touristic regions in France. It is well known for its climate (300 sunny days per year), for its Mediterranean beaches and coasts and for its characteristic villages. Nice is a wonderful place for visiting the French and the Italian Rivieras. By car Italy is only 40 minutes away. Furthermore, the mountainous region is ideal for nature lovers and hikers.
