Our house is a detached Georgian townhouse overlooking the Kennet and Avon canal and within eight minutes walk of Bath's historic Abbey and town centre. See the householders assocation site.
The house is on three floors with its entrance hall, large lounge and study/piano room at road level, its dining room, fully equipped kitchen, shower/wc and separate utility area at garden level. On the upper floor are two bedrooms and the bathroom. The house was built in 1815 and has been restored by its architect owners and displays many of the owners paintings.  Steve and Patricia have a large library and the house has excellent television reception, B&O sound system and internet access.

Our Neighbourhood

Bath is a World Heritage City, a masterpiece of early nineteenth century town planning and its Royal Crescent, Circle and Terraces are world renowned See ( Most visitors come to see the Roman baths and relax in the new Spa which draws on the same hot springs. In addition to its emphasis on health, the city has several high quality museums, an eighteenth century theatre often showing pre­London productions, a major art gallery and numerous small private galleries in addition to a huge selection of restaurants and other attractions all within walking distance of the house. The monthly magazine Bath Life  is a great source of local information.
Bath Spa station within walking distance is on the main line between London (90 minutes) and Bristol (12 minutes). Buses from the end of the road run every .12 minutes and connect one of the UK's leading Universities at Claverton with the town centre and the recently built bus station where one can pick up routes to neighbouring towns. There are many beautiful little villages to visit around Bath each with their own character pubs and a number of historic houses including Longleat and Lacock Abbey, only a short drive away.
