A five bedroom detached house; close to the sea, beaches, great scenery, restaurants, activities, touring and an award winning tourist town; visit beautiful West Cork and the Wild Atlantic Way.

We are a busy, active family who enjoy exploring new places. Previous holidays have included Spain, France, US (Florida, California & New York) and New Zealand. The boys are very much interested in sport, swimming and exploring new places.

We have five bedrooms (3x double and 2x single) and two living rooms and a kitchen / dining room. Our house comes equipped all necessary applicances and also: Wifi, Xbox, Bikes, Surfboard, Kayaks, Games, Books, etc

We are planning on leaving any swappers with a car which has a roof rack for the canoes.

Neighbourhood Description

We live in a small estate about 5 minutes walk from town (uphill); there is a great community spirit and our neighbours would be around to help anyone who needs assistance. Our neighbours tend to have similar age children i.e. aged from 2 years up to 18 and so if visitors want to make friends there are plenty to meet.

Clonakilty has a great reputation for restaurants, cafes and bars. You can hear traditional Irish music every night of the week with some venues attracting a wide variety of bands.

The main local venue for music is De Barras: http://debarra.ie/

Local restaurants and place to eat: https://www.tripadvisor.ie/Restaurants-g211877-Clonakilty_County_Cork.html

By car we are 45 minutes from Cork city, 40 minutes from Kinsale, 30 mins from Skibbereen, 45 mins from Schull and 45 mins from Bantry. In just over an hour you can drive over to Kerry including the towns of Kenmare, Dingle and Killarney.
