Charming house close to Utrecht, Netherlands
Our house borders an old forest, with beautiful lanes. An ideal place for hiking and biking. Our garden is enclosed and south oriented. Bilthoven is a quiet village with a large area of old villa’s. It is only 7 kms to Utrecht, the old and beautifull University town in central Holland, with it's famous canals and wharfs ( UNESCO world heritage). In Bilthoven is a railway station that connects you to Amsterdam ( 40 minutes), Utrecht ( 9 minutes)and all the well known old Dutch cities ( Amersfoort,Gouda,Delft, The Hague, Rotterdam).There is a very good supermarket only 200 meters from our house.
Stans( 70) is a retired social scientist and Renier ( 75) is retired drama teacher. We have 5 children, who are all grown up and living on their own. We are the lucky grandparents of 14 grandchildren, so the house contains a lot of toys and a babybed etc.
Holland is a country for bikers and walkers.There are many free bikes paths and walkings paths and in our house you’ll find three excellent bikes. We are non-smokers.
We swapt with pleasure more than 20 times.

Utbytet förlöpte helt enligt planerna. Våra partners var också nöjda med sin vistelse i Malmö. Synd bara att man inte får träffa sina partners fysiskt. Ett trevligt koncept, som medlemmarna i Villefranche-s.-Saône förespråkar och tillämpat med oss är samtidigt utbyte med en dags förskjutning då man träffas på platsen. T.ex. vistelse 10-24/9 för ena parten och 11-25/9 för andra parten.
