Holiday home in Braga, Portugal

Vila Praia de Âncora is only 45 kms from Oporto (low cost companies offer cheap flights), easily accessible by highway, it is 25 km from Viana do Castelo, and at about 30 km from Galiza region in Spain (La Guardia and Vigo). It is also 3 km far from the charming Moledo do Minho village and beach, and 5 km from Caminha. Caminha is situated at Rio Minho estuary in front of Spain (La Guardia) with incredible sea views and has a small pine wood to walk.
Please note that since this is our holiday apartment we do not have telephone nor internet access, but there is nearby wifi access in coffe shops and Public Library of Caminha. We have TV but just with a few Portuguese channels.
We are a family of 4 persons (a couple and 2 boys 17 and 13 years old very respectful), I am Full Professor at University of Minho in Braga and my husband is a Public Lawer-“Procurador" at Tribunal/Court of Braga.
Our holiday apartment is located near a fishing port village called Vila Praia de Âncora in the district of Caminha. The apartment is all facing the sea and it is situated in a quite zone and the beach is about 10 to 15 minutes walking . It is a very wide family beach with clear calm waters and fine golden sand (Blue Flag Beach). The beach has good facilities: life guard/red cross station, parking for cars and showers & toilets. The apartment is placed in the many village street in the core of the village but in a very quite area and there are plenty of bars, shops, supermarkets and a tourist information centre. You can enjoy the Green wine region (Vinõ Verde region) and it is easily to taste very high quality fresh fish.
