House in Sollentuna, Sweden

Welcome to Sweden!
We did our first exchange with a family in Spain in the summer of 2009 and our second exchange was with a family in Marsielle, France, 2010. We are very happy with this new way of travelling! We are now interested in more exchanges! We are planning a trip to Rome and Sardinia this summer!
Our house is located in the forrest close to the lake Rösjön and we have a great view over the lake from our house. The house was first built in 1940 and we made the latest rebuilding 2008.
The house has 3 bedrooms. The parents-bedroom has a doubledoor out to a big wooden deck  where we have most of our meals in the summer.
There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath.
There is a wooden sauna with a lake view and a fireplace in the yard. In summertime we also have a large trampoline in the garden.

Our Neighbourhood

Our house is only 100 meters from the lake Rösjön where we spend a lot of time fishing, swimming, canoeing, iceskating and skiing. After these activities it´s wonderful to take a bath in our wooden sauna.
It is 30 minutes by public transportation, or 15 with car,  to central Stockholm where you find a lot of interesting spots. Meet the swedish girl Pippi Longstocking, or the Swedish musicians ABBA. Visit one of our several museums, for example the Vasa museum, discover the beautiful archipelago or simply go for a swim in our clean water right next to our city hall.  "Skansen" is a cultural center in Stockholm where you can meet swedish animals and learn more about our swedish cultural heritage and maybe take part of our traditions such as Midsummer.
The Stockholm Arlanda international airport is approx a 20 mins car ride away.
