Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Laguardia & Kennedy - Laguardia 15 Minuets Kennedy 25 Minuets
Brooklyn Heights is the oldest neighborhood in Brooklyn. We live in an apartment building but there are many brownstone houses and lovely carriage houses. Many restaurants and pubs. Cobble stone streets and of course the Promenade where people come form all over to take pictures of the New York City skyline. Train line include the 2,3,4,5,A,C,N,R,and F. Buses are many and they stop and start across the street. Easy access to Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge is one block away. There are two parks across the street and a post office. This is the downtown area with all the court houses. It is a busy area during the day but quiet in the evening.

About Our Family
I am a single woman who recently retired and am ready to start enjoying the good life. I keep a very clean home and live in a wonderful neighborhood. I care for my mother who is 88 this May 2017 and I spend half the week at her home at the Jersey shore. I have 2 living siblings a brother and sister and five wonderful nieces and nephews. I come form a large family with 26 first cousins. We get together on a regular basis and truly enjoy each others company, I feel very blessed they are all great people. My standards are high and I was raised to be honest and live with integrity. We are animal lovers and I live with Ernest Hemmingway, I call him Ernie for short. He's a cat. My mom has a dog and her name is Bambi we love her, love her love her.
Lifestyle
I've been in the design industry for forty years. Manufacturing reproduction period furniture in the style of Chippendale, Sheraton, Hepplewhite, Art Deco and furniture from the Arts & Crafts period. I started in the Antiques business and from there opened a showroom in The Decoration & Design Building. I took an interest in metal furniture and incorporated both in a larger space in The Fine Art's Building. I retired from the having a brick and mortar store to strictly online in 2012. I enjoy what I do. My motto has always been "with us anything is possible". I presently created a line of Diego Giacometti style furniture. If you would like to visit my web site the address is, www.custom-metal-furniture.com. I enjoy a quiet lifestyle spending half the week in New York and the other half at the Jersey Shore. Oh and yes traveling.
