House in Piedmont, USA

We live in Northern California about 8 miles east of San Francisco. Our community is part of the East Bay which includes Berkeley, Oakland, and Piedmont. Piedmont is a small town of 10,000 people, surrounded by the city of Oakland. The area has restaurants, coffee shops, farmer markets, grocery stores, movie theaters, and Lake Merritt which you can walk or jog around. From our house you can walk to several shopping areas and have easy access to public transportation. The New York Times published a new article "36 Hours in Oakland". Many of the places mentioned are just down the street.
Our home is a two story Craftsman style house with redwood moldings and paneling built in the 1920’s.  It comfortably accommodates a family of six. The upstairs level has three bedrooms, a study, a bathroom, and a playroom.  Located on the ground floor are a modern kitchen with breakfast area, a formal dining room, a living room with a piano, a bathroom, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.  Outside, small gardens surround the house.  We have a Prius car that we would be interested in exchanging.

About Our Family

Dear friends,

We live in Northern California about 8 miles east of San Francisco. Our community is part of the East Bay which includes Berkeley, Oakland, and Piedmont. The climate here is mild with wet, rainy winters and sunny, warm summers which cool off very nicely around twilight as the fog from San Francisco moves across the bay.

The New York Times just published a new article "36 Hours in Oakland".

Outside small gardens surround the house. We have a Saab car that we would be interested in exchanging.

Our email is elsgoodman@aol.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
