Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Keflavík Airport - 70 km

We live in a quiet neighborhood. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the woods, to a hiking trail or to the next playground. Great views can be seen from the cliff Hamar and in a close walley a popular hiking trail leads you to the warm river at Reykjadalur. Restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, liquour store and bakery can all be found in our town. In only 30 minutes drive one can be close to the most popular sightseeing spots of south Iceland like the National Park Þingvellir and then go further on to the Geysir, Golden waterfall (Gullfoss), Skálholt and Kerið.
