Since september 2019 we are retired so we are open to any offer that includes at least 2 bedrooms(As I suffer from sleep apnea).
We have been exchanging for more than 32 years now (more than 44 EXCHANGES)in a lot of countries in Europe. Always very successfull exchanges.
Our home is a house in the row with 3 floors. It is situated at the borders of the old inner-city. We are at 1 km from the citycentre and musea of Bruges and at 20 min from the Belgian coast.We have renovated it We have a large a while ago., modern kitchen with oven, micro-wave, refrigerator and dishwasher. We have a laundry room with washer and dryer and deepfreeze.
we renovated our bathroom completely in february 2025. There is a rain shower and 2 washbasins.
The house is equiped with central heating in the most recent part.; In the salon we have a open gasfire place.
We have colour-TV ( digital) and a Hi-Fi-set. There is free internetaccess.
There are 4 bedrooms (2 double-2single). The masterbedroom was renovated and refurbished with furniture of Fifty's in august 2025.
We have a sunny terrace with new furniture.
There is a small but comfortable very sunny garden (all day). We have a garage at the other side of the street.

We live in Belgium, in Bruges (Assebroek).Bruges was the cultural capital of Europe in 2002.
Bruges is at 1 hour from Brussels / ½ hour from Ghent / 1 ½ hour from Antwerp/ (known as the Art Cities) – at 1 ½ hour from the white cliffs of Calais (France) / ½ hour from The Netherlands
/ 3h from London by Eurostar/ 3 h from Paris by car/train.
Our house is only 1 km away from the centre of this medieval city (you can use our bikes).
Shops are very nearby.
Bruges is one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities of Europe, visited by tourists from all over the world. There are many museums.Unesco world heritage
You have forests at 4 km and 4 swimming pools. There is also a family-attraction parc with dolfinarium
(BOUDEWIJN SEAPARC).
Bruges is only 16 km(20 min) from the Belgian coast (north sea)with its beaches and dunes.
Our family:
We are just the 2 of us now. We have 3 adult children.
We love the mountains or sea and nature, but an interesting city can tempt us as well.

La casa è comoda, assai vicina al centro storico che può essere raggiunto con una passeggiata. Il quartiere è molto tranquillo e le biciclette che avevamo a disposizione ci hanno permesso delle piacevoli escursioni nei dintorni. Facile anche raggiungere la stazione ferroviaria e le città vicine.

We have 3 adult children. They all left home and live by themselves .
Our family : my husband JAN (67years), 3 children: a daughter LIEN (42)and granddaugther Irina (5) and her partner Mattias (39) and his children :Suzanne(13) and Jules (14). A son WOUT(39) and our grandchildren: Anna (12) and Emiel ( 9)- His partner Anniek with her 2 children Nore(15) and Rune (13). Another son: HANNES (34) and his partner SILKE(35) and myself GRIET (66), but normally they don't travel with us.
Still, depending on the destination some one can/ could like to travel with us....
