Hello, fellow travelers! 🌍
The fascinating province of Castellón is one of the most diverse and complete areas of Spain to visit. With its long beaches, lush forested mountains, charming medieval villages, countless fairytale castles, rich heritage, and extraordinary climate, Castellón is full of surprises. Castellón also stands out for its exceptional gastronomy, renowned as one of the best places to enjoy food in all of Spain, a true feast for the senses.
Come and discover Castellón, a province that’s a treasure trove of culture, nature, and unforgettable flavors! 🌊🍴✨
We are Natxo (56), proud father of Arnau (19) and Carla (16) and Maria (56). Natxo is a double bassist and a teacher of double bass and music at the Conservatory of Castelló and València and very passionate about jazz 🎶✨Maria is an Iyengar yoga teacher. Arnau is studying Chemistry at the university and Carla is studying bachillerato and contemporary dance.
We live in Castelló de la Plana, a peaceful Mediterranean city in Spain, just 65 km from vibrant València.
Our home is a bright, cozy 3-bedroom apartment (90 m²) with everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. It’s the perfect base for exploring this region, brimming with amazing destinations like Benicàssim, Morella, Sagunt, Orpesa, and of course, València. Plus, we’re just 4 km from the beach and the mountains, offering a mix of culture, nature, and entertainment.
We’ve recently renovated our home with new wooden floors and fresh paint to make it even more welcoming. You’ll find all the usual conveniences, like a dishwasher, washing machine, stereo, TV, and internet access. And for music lovers, we also have some instruments for inspiration: a piano and a guitar! 🎶
The apartment has:
A spacious living room filled with natural light
A large kitchen equipped with all essentials
A renovated full bathroom
Three bedrooms: one double with a cozy double bed, and two singles, each with one bed
Please note: The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no lift—a little exercise to keep you active! 😉
We would love to explore and discover different cities around the world. 🌍✨ to discover its culture, music, traditions, and stunning landscapes. It would be an absolute pleasure to experience it from your home while sharing ours with you.
Safe travels and happy adventures!
Warm regards,
Natxo & Maria🌟

The fascinating province of Castellón is one of the most diverse and complete areas of Spain to visit. With its long beaches, lush forested mountains, charming medieval villages, countless fairytale castles, rich heritage, and extraordinary climate, Castellón is full of surprises as the northernmost province of the Valencian Community.
This land boasts a history that stretches from prehistoric times to the present day and is crossed by the Greenwich Meridian. Castellón also stands out for its exceptional gastronomy, renowned as one of the best places to enjoy food in all of Spain. The staples of the coastal cuisine include rice, fresh vegetables, fish, and seafood, all of which shine in its celebrated culinary traditions.
A celebration of any kind is hardly imaginable without the iconic paella, with varieties such as Valencian paella, seafood paella, mixed paella, arròs a banda, arròs negre (named for the squid ink that gives it its distinctive color), vegetable paella, soupy rice (arròs caldós), baked rice, and rice with cabbage.
White and blue fish in all their varieties, along with seafood, can be enjoyed throughout Castellón. The recipes featuring the exquisite flavors of the sea are endless. Some regional specialties include Rossejat de arròs, Fideuà Rossejat, Vinaròs prawns, Benicarló artichokes, and Tombet de les Useres—a true feast for the senses.
