Welcome to Caligiana
In the quiet, wooded hills of Lake Trasimeno, on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, is our holiday apartment in Caligiana, Umbria (height: 450 metres). At the foot of the hill it is a twenty minute drive to the village Magione, where ample opportunities are to do some shopping (market and supermarkets). Magione is located on a local Highway (SR75bis) on which you can reach Perugia in a quarter of an hour.

Umbria, "the land of Francis of Assisi", is a region of green, rolling hills covered with vineyards and olive groves. The region is located in Central Italy and is also called the green heart of Italy. It has a mild Mediterranean climate, so that the summers are dry and sunny and winters can be quite cold and wet. Umbria is bordered in the West to Tuscany (Lake Trasimeno), in the East to Marche and the Apennines and in the South to Lazio.

The immediate vicinity of Caligiana is perfect for exploring on foot or by bike. There are various routes and the gravel road to our holiday apartment is part of the network of officially signposted hiking routes around the Lake Trasimeno.

Due to its central location, it’s fun to make day trips to famous places in Umbria and Tuscany, such as Perugia, Passignano sul Trasimeno, Castiglione de Lago, Cortona, Arezzo, Citta di Castello, Assisi, Siena and Montepulciano. Also more distant cities such as Florence and Rome are easily and quickly accessible by car or train.

our apartment is in a country house with six apartments, garden and swimming pool. Our apartment is located on the quiet back of the complex and has an area of 64 square metres (excluding balconies).

Format:
* Living room/kitchen with dining area, sofa and two single chairs.
* One bedroom with double bed (two single beds placed together).
* A second bedroom with two single beds, a large multifunctional table (table/chest of drawers/desk).
* Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

Around the outside corner is a continuous balcony of about 16 square meters with garden furniture. Radio/Cassette/CD player, travel books and games are also provided. The apartment complex features a home Wi-Fi network.

Pool and garden are (only) for guests ' use. For each apartment there are two sun loungers by the pool.
