Lovely, beach side home in Mudjimba, Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Our home is situated just 80 meters from the beautiful Mudjimba beach. It is of modern brick and tile construction. It has 4 bedrooms, One King size bed, 2 queen size beds and 2 single bunk beds. The master bedroom has an ensuite and a walk-in robe. We have a entertainment room complete with a 55-inch HD TV and DVD player with surround sound. The rumpus area also has a 55-inch HD TV with Personal Video Recorder. We have a wonderfully appointed outdoor deck and BBQ area that provides a tranquil haven for relaxation after a day's touring. The fast NBN broadband Internet with Wi-Fi will be available to our guests. The car is a 2011 VW CC Coupe that seats 5 people. It is automatic with a fuel-efficient diesel motor.
The Sunshine Coast ( https://www.visitsunshinecoast.com/) is a beautiful stretch of white soft sandy beaches that commences at Caloundra in the south and finishes at Noosa in the north a distance of some 60 Kilometers. Mudjimba is located approximately 50 miles north of Brisbane which is the capital of Queensland. Our home is situated in the middle of the Sunshine Coast with a yearlong patrolled beach at the end of the street. Australia Zoo (The Crocodile Man) is a 30-minute drive south and the world heritage listed Fraser Island is about 2 hours north. It is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.
We have an airport very handy that will allow direct and easy connections to anywhere in Australia (and some destinations in New Zealand) on our newly established budget airlines. The favorable exchange rate would afford quick and hassle-free travel to any part of Australia for a few days here and there. The famous Noosa Beach is less then 20 minutes north. The hinterland village towns in the Malany Ranges are also only 30 minutes to the west. Many national parks with fresh clear and cool rivers and waterfalls are very close for when a break from the beach is required. There are many golf courses both public, and resort courses (all available to the public nearby). The Australian PGA was held at the Hyatt Coolum that is less then 5 minutes to the north.
We have been happily married for 50 years and our two daughters have reached adult hood and lived around the world making their own marks. (London and Cape Town). Both daughters have since returned to raise their families and would be available for any assistance. After all these years of raising a family, we have decided that it was now our time to go out and experience some of what the world has to offer. We are both retired and wish to further enjoy wonderful experiences abroad living "as the locals do".
I did volunteer work with our RSL Care (Returned Services League) for around 6 years before spending time travelling. It is an organization that assists the elderly war veterans and their spouses in transportation, shopping etc. We have also lived overseas for 3 years throughout the Pacific Ocean and have also conducted 15 previous exchanges in Europe, UK and most recently to the USA.
We would be happy to provide references if required. We would treat the home of our exchange partners as if it was our own. We look forward to making contact with our exchange friends soon. Please feel free to contact us about any exchange. Stay safe and well Terry and Wendy
WE WILL CONSIDER A LONG-TERM EXCHANGE TO MOST DESTINATIONS IN THE GREATER EUROPE/UNITED KINGDOM AND AMERICAS.

Thank you and Wendy and I wish everyone happy travels.

About Our Family
We are recently retired over 60 and looking to continue our amazing Intervac journey. Wendy and I normally travell by ourselves as both our daughters have families and commitments that prevent them from joinging us.
Lifestyle
Wendy and I (Terry) enjoy living by the beach and sharing family time with our daughter's family. We have 4 gorgeous grandchildren that live nearby and keep us on our toes.
We will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this year and are considering an Intevac exchange to celebrate.
