About Our Family

Rebecca is teaching at a local high school while I'm an engineer working for one of the state's largest employers. We moved from Texas to the Pacific Northwest in 2020 and both have a long-developed love of travel and adventure. We've both been to Europe, though never together, and with her upcoming 2025 summer holidays and my sabbaticals think this is a golden opportunity to search for a home exchange.

Lifestyle

Rebecca and I are both involved in civic activities and have careers in the local area. Rebecca recently transitioned from a directorship in a indoor ag company into her role as biology teacher and program developer for a local private K-12 school. I have a long-established career with factory production and one of the factors that guided us to Portland was the career opportunities in the high-tech corridors. We're avid campers and backpackers and take advantage often of all the outdoor fun and adventure within just a couple hours' drive of Portland.
