Spacious secluded 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom single story modern home (300sqm+) located on 118 acres / 47 hectares on the edge of the Avon Valley National Park approx 60kms East of Perth, (Perth city approx 45-60mins by car) and close to Avon Valley wineries, restaurants and tourist attractions.
Our house is off-grid, both electricity and water but don’t worry, both are in abundance with 12kW of PV and 64kWh battery with generator backup for extended winter dull periods if required and over 280,000 litres of water fed by the heavens and bore spring fed back up all stored in secure concrete tanks.
Our house is equipped with all the usual luxury fixtures and fittings with near full 180 degree view to the east over valleys and rising morning sun to enjoy the glorious summer morning sunrise should you be an early riser.
We have a small outdoor undercover patio area accessed from two doors from the main living room/ lounge area, the patio includes table, chairs, BBQ, pizza oven and water misting system for the warmer days and fire pit with cooler winter evenings.
The house is located approximately centre of the property with lovely marked walks and an abundance of wildlife such as birds, kangaroos and the occasional emu’s and echidna’s.

Nearest Airport: Perth International Airport - 36kms

Our house / property is located in a rural area east of the City of Perth by approximately 60kms. The immediate local area is sparsely populated with larger rural properties 50-200 acres / 20-90 hectares, typically small farms / agricultural lifestyle properties growing olives, grapes, various crops and of course animals comprising mainly sheep, cows and horses.
We are located at the end of our road which is approximately 2kms long with 7 neighbours / other properties on our road. Our property adjoins a large 10,000 acre privately owned property and a wildlife sanctuary (Paruna Nature Reserve) with the Avon Valley National Park immediacy beyond.
The closest shops / amenities are a short 10 minute drive away comprising the Gidgegannup townsite which includes a small convenience store, fuel, bakery, grocer and a pub / restaurant a few kms beyond Gidgegannup at the picturesque Noble Falls area comprising walks and BBQ area.
A must see/do is to visit Paruna sanctuary who run both day and night guided walks (seasonal) through the bush to explore and discover the local wildlife.

About Our Family

We are a retired professional couple (engineer) although still active with continued work / improvements to our property. We have a daughter and two grandchildren (boys 14 & 11) who regularly stay during school holidays who go missing during the day exploring the local bush.
